The LBKTW group participated in World Ocean Day at Mote on Sunday. Thanks to Marie, Bill & Emmy Lou we were well represented. This is our second year participating & we all enjoyed three hours talking turtle!
Thanks to Mote Conservation we were able to display the Loggerhead carapace, hatchling developing & Green skull. The kids love the carapace!
Emmy Lou brought the Girl Scout turtle patch activity box for display. We are still working on getting some interest. Please pass along the patch idea to anyone you think might have a Girl Scout interested in working towards the patch. Emmy Lou is our contact.
